About

My story

Born and raised in Yeoval NSW, and living with anaphylaxis to dairy, eggs and nuts, I found access to food-based knowledge was limited.

I developed a love for baking, and an understanding that cooking nutritious foods shouldn't be complicated and is different for everyone.

Studying a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition Studies), and as a certified Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor, I understand how crucial movement and nutritious foods are to survive, function at your best and find balance within this complicated life.

I aim to educate people on practical and positive ways to support their movement and nutrition, with longevity and balance at the forefront: understanding the cause and effect of a symptom, and creating a tool belt to alter through all seasons of life.

Combining the deeper insight of agriculture and human nutrition is an evolving part of my practice.

FAQ

Before you book

What happens in an initial session, and how is a follow-up different?

Your initial session runs for about an hour, in person at one of my monthly clinics or online. I get to know you and what you'd like support with, look at the cause and effect of what's going on, and start building practical tools that fit your life. Follow-ups run for 30 minutes to check in and keep building on that.

Are sessions in person or online?

Both. Face-to-face clinics run once a month in Narromine, Condobolin, Parkes and Forbes, and sessions are also available online.

Can I claim a rebate?

Mostly no. Some higher-level private health insurance packages cover nutrition, so it's worth checking with your fund.

How do I book, reschedule or cancel?

Book through my booking page. Cancelling more than 24 hours before your session is free. Within 24 hours, half the session fee applies, and a no-show is charged in full.

Can I ask a question before I book?

Yes. Email me at laura@balanceinsidenout.com.
